Actor Jonathan Majors is being praised on social media for standing with a Black reporter who interviewed him on the purple carpet.
The Lovecraft Nation star walked the purple carpet for the Sundance Movie Competition in Salt Lake Metropolis, Utah, over the weekend and was gearing as much as reply questions for one Black and queer journalist Daric L. Cottingham who patiently waited for an opportunity to interview the display screen star.

However a video clip captured the second Majors stopped for the interview and was interrupted by competition workers who tried to hurry him inside and abruptly stopped the reporter’s line of questioning.
Majors’ publicist even stepped into the fray to intervene and inform the staffer to present Majors simply “two minutes” to conduct the interview.

Cottingham instructed the staffer that he actually may have already gotten his reply from Majors within the time he was making an attempt to shoo him away.
Majors, who returned to the competition to advertise his movie, “Journal Goals,” refused to let the staffer halt the interview.
“Simply go. Simply go,” Majors instructed the journalist who was making an attempt to cause with the staffer.
“If he bodily pulls me, I’m sorry,” Majors tells the reporter who requested the staffer to step out of his digicam body.
Followers and onlookers celebrated Majors for defending a Black journalist working the purple carpet. Many shared feedback concerning the harsh situations Black reporters are likely to expertise on purple carpets.
